Sparliest country in the world
Majority of people in country called Bantu lives in north of country
Factors affecting population density
Much of the country is a desert=hot and dry climate
Hot and dry climate=people not attracted to it
Sparse rainfall and droughts=people don’t want to live in a place where agriculture is sparse
Economy depends on mining minerals
Mining however only employs 3% of the population which is not enough
HIV=increase mortality rate (people don’t want to live in a place with HIV)
High infant mortality rate die to poor=not attractive for people to live in
Dry and infertile soil=small areas where people can live in
Problems
Namibia has a low population
Risks of poor economy for the future due to low number of people occupying jobs
HIV is a problem a people die from it
Lower brain power
No economy= poverty
Not attractive to tourists
