Arabia
A large peninsula in Asia near Africa, that consists of Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, and United Arab Emirates.
Mecca
A city in West Saudi Arabia that is the birthplace of Muhammad. Only Muslims are allowed in and over 7mil come for the annual parade to worship their prophet.
Muhammad
The founder of Islam. Born in Mecca. Claimed God spoke to him.
Islam
2nd largest religion in the world. Its believers are called Muslims and surrender their faith in Allah.
The Qur’an
The religious book of Islam. Written by Muhammed.

The five core beliefs of members of Islam.

Sultan of the Ottoman empire. Ended a crusade, and most notably, the Byzantine empire, by conquering Constantinople.
The Ottoman Empire
An empire spanning much of West Asia, East Europe, and North Africa. Created by a Turkish tribe. Conquered Constantinople. Taken mainly down due to the Balkan wars.
