Q

What is the relationship between temperature and solubility?

A

as the temperature increases, the solubility of a solid increases
eg sugar dissolves better in hot water than cold water
as the temperature increases the solubility of a gas decreases
eg carbon dioxided content in soda decreases as the temperature increases
