boundaries between parent and child are blurred, leading to excessive emotional involvement
over protective and controlling, depending on their child for emotional support

completion, jealousy and conflict that can arise between siblings,
particaurly common in children close in age and when there is perceived differences in how parents treat siblings

Tv shows are designed for children to enhance cognitive development and can expose children to different cultures

leads to development problems such as critical thinking and a decreased attention span
social media
allows children to connnect with peers and develop a sense of belonging
but
excessive use can hinder development of face to face social skills and contributes to body image issues
