Q

how did bandura prove the social learning theory and vicarious reinforcement proved

A

through a lab experiment, containing 72 nursery children - 36 boys and 36 girls. first condition shown an aggressive model to 24 children, next was a non-aggressive model to another 24 and then a control to another 24 model

Q

what where the results of the lab experiment

A

Q

what are some weaknesses of this

A
  • the results of experiments bay be influence by demand characteristics. the environment may not reflect the way people learn
  • does not account the influence of biological factors on behaviour
  • does not take into account free will and moral
  • sees behaviour as environmentally determined
