A

Milgram proposed the concept of agentic shift to explain the behaviour that goes against conscious.
Suggested people move from autonomous to agentic when confronted with perceived authority.
Believed we would experience binding factors which result when we go against morals. Unable to stop due to social pressure.

A

Milgram’s study shows how normal people follow instructions even when going against conscious.
Blass followed up asking people who saw mailgrams study who they blamed, they blamed experimenter showing they believed the participants where subjected to authority.
Shown in real world where moral strain from actions occur.

Could be due to personality and cannot explain disobedience.
