Mere presence of others increased arousal levels. Arousal increases frequency of dominant response and decreases frequency of non-dominant reponse

What is Cottrell’s evaluation apprehension model (1968)?
Social facilitation effects only occur if the individual feels that performance will be evaluated, i.e. mere presence is not enough, needs to be watching
