Adaptation
Your body’s response to training and how your body changes to cope with new activity.
Aerobic
Working at a moderate intensity level with oxygen.
Anaerobic
Working at a high intensity level without oxygen.
Alveoli
Tiny sacs within our lungs that allow oxygen and carbon dioxide to move between the lungs and bloodstream.
Diaphragm
The primary muscle used in the process of inspiration or inhalation.
Cardiac Output
The amount of blood ejected from your heart in a minute (CO) = (RSV) x (RHR)
Stroke volume
The amount of blood pumped per beat
Recovery rate
The speed at which your heart returns to RHR after you exercise.

Continuous, Fartlek, Interval.
What are long term effects of Anaerobic exercise?
Increases the ability to move in quick bursts.
What methods of training are used for Anaerobic exercise?
Weight training, plyometrics.
What are some of the effects of the musculo-skeletal system?
Increases strength of ligaments and tendons
Increases bone density
