Adds bulk to food and aids the functioning of the digestive system.

Amounts for around half of your body weight. Holds oxygen and is the main component of many cells.

The loss of water and salts essential for normal body function.

Take on water.
Diuretic
Making you produce more urine.
Metabolic Rate
The rate at which metabolic processes take place; the rate at which a body uses up energy.
