- Cardiovascular Fitness
- Muscular strength
- Muscular endurance
- Flexibility
- Body composition
Cardiovascular fitness
The ability to exercise your whole body for long periods of time
Sports that require cardiovascular fitness
- Long distance running (1500m, marathon, etc)
- Football
- Tennis
- Basketball
- Rugby, etc
Muscular strength
The amount of force a muscle can exert against a resistance
Sport that require muscular strength
- Weightlifting (clean and jerk)
- Rugby (ruck, scrum)
Muscular endurance
The ability to use voluntary muscles repeatedly without getting tired
Flexibility
The range of motion of your joint ( gymnatsics requires flexibility)
Why is it important to be flexible
It is important because you are less likely to get injured so you can train and it will enable to to execute skills better such as a cartwheel in gymnastics
Body composition
The percentage of body weight that is muscle, fat or bone

Weight in KG / Height in metres squared
