Irregular bone
Unique shape: face, ears, vertebrae, sacrum, coccyx
Flat bone
Thin and flat and slightly curved bones:
Skull, ribs, sternum
Sesamoid bones
Patella, and the carpals in hand and feet
Lordosis
Lower back curves inward with the pelvis tilting
Kyphosis
Upper back abnormally rounded with a forward til it in the pelvis
