The skeleton provides a ridged frame for the rest of the body to kind of hang off.
All the soft tissue are supported by the skeleton this allows us to stand up.

A

Many bones have a soft tissue called bone marrow in the middle of them. Bone marrow produces red blood cells (which carries oxygen around the body) and white blood cells (which help to protect the body from infection.
