What’s the structure of a long bone
A
Epiphysis at each end of the diaphysis. At the end there is spongy bone which has red bone marrow and Haversian canals

What is the role of calcium in the body
A
Calcium hardens bones and teeth, contributes to blood clotting and nerve impulses, muscular tone and contractions

What’s a fibrous joint
A
A joint with almost no movement eg skull sutures

A
A joint with some movement such as the pelvic girdle
