What is Sense Perception

A

Perceiving something with your senses: seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, touching.

What is Mental Image

A

Image of an object formed in the mind as a result of a sense perception of that object. It can be present even when you are not presently perceiving the object.

What is Concept

A

It is the idea of an object. When you read the word “chair” you understand what this word means, even without seeing a real chair or invoking a mental image of it - this is what is meant by concept.

Simple apprehension is a mental act by which the mind grasps the concept of an object without making any judgment about it.
