Q

Occupational performance issue of shoulder dislocation

A
  1. Immobilization: One handed technique
  2. Limited ROM
  3. Muscle atrophy
  4. Pain
  5. Precaution –> affect sleep positioning (one pillow under the affected shoulder and one pillow under the arm)
  6. hypersensitivity in axillary nerve distribution
  7. Avoid soaking the wound with water –> bathing → prepare a shower sling and a regular sling/ hand-held shower head
