A
weakness or wasting of the small muscles of the hands
Loss of sensation (hand and arm)
Waiter’s Tip Deformity
– shoulder adduction and internal rotation, elbow extension, forearm pronation, and wrist flexion

Etiology of Erb’s palsy
A
excessive lateral traction of head and neck in opposite directions
- Result of severe trauma or during birth (shoulder dystocia)
