1) malabsorption - À B12, D, E , K essential fatty acids , selenium , zinc ,hypomagnesia- supplements

2) inadequate digestion - diarrhoea

3) poor drug absorption
increase Warfarin Oral contraceptive digoxin or give iv
Don’t give m/r, e/c preps
Give uncoated or soluble
Liquid form may be okay but depends On osmolarity excipients and volume need)
