A

floors of a ship which divide the vessel into layers. the main deck is the upper most complete deck. the deck immediately beneath the main deck is called the second deck, the next is the third, next is the fourth etc… any deck exposed to the weatrher is called a weather deck. decks above the main deck are identified by the letter ‘o’ and the nbr above the main deck.
