Describe Male Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder?
Persistently deficient or absent sexual fantasies and desire.
Certain factors are taken into account such as age and the context of the person’s life for 6 months
Describe Female Sexual Interest/Arousal Disorder?
At least three of the following symptoms for 6 months:
- reduced interest in sexual activity
- reduced sexual/erotic thoughts
- None or reduced initiation or sexual activity or unreceptive to partners attempts
- absent or reduced sexual pleasure
- absent or reduced sexual interest in response to sexual cues
- absent or reduced genital/nongential sensations
Describe Erectile Disorder
One or more of these symptoms experienced on almost all occasions of sexual activity for 6 months (75-100% of encounters)
- difficulty obtaining an erection
- difficulty maintaining an erection to completion
- decreased in erectile rigidity
Describe female orgasmic disorder
delay in or absence of orgasms following normal sexual excitement phase for 6 months
Describe delayed ejaculation
either symptom experienced on all or almost all occasions for 6 months
- marked delay in ejaculation
- marked infrequency or absence of ejaculation
Describe Premature Ejaculation
Persistent ejaculation with partnered sexual activity within approx. 1 minute following penetration and before pt prefers it, for 6 months on almost all or all occasions
Describe Genito-Pelvic Pain Penetration Disorder
Persistent difficulties with 1 or more of the following for 6 months:
- Difficulty with vaginal penetration
- Vulvovaginal or pelvic pain during penetration
- Fear/Anxiety about pain
- Tensing/tightening of pelvic floor
Define Paraphilia
Any intense and persistent sexual interest other than genital stimulation or fondling with phenotypically normal, physically mature consenting human partners for at least 6 months
What is Sexual Masochism Disorder?
Derives pleasure from suffering (humiliation, beaten, bound) real acts, not simulated
What is Hypoxyphilia?
sexual arousal by oxygen deprivation
- may increase the intensity of an orgasm
- can be deadly
Describe Sexual Sadism Disorder
Derives sexual arousal from the physical or psychological suffering or another person
What is Exhibitionism?
Exposure of genitals to unsuspecting strangers in public
