Pixel definetion?
The pixel is a small piece of code that gets added to a website, where it receives information about the actions people take on the site, such as viewing a product or adding an item to a shopping cart.
4 steps to add a pixel to website?
- Go to Facebook Events Manager and select Connect a Data Source.
- Select Web and click Get Started to continue.
- In the window that pops up, select Facebook Pixel and click Connect.
- Enter a name for your pixel. Businesses can also enter a website URL to check if their website was set up using one of Facebook’s integration partners. Then, click Continue.
