A

Hepatocellular carcinoma, hepatoblastoma, yolk
sac (endodermal sinus) tumor, mixed germ
cell tumor.

Normally made by fetus. Transiently elevated in
pregnancy. High levels associated with neural
tube and abdominal wall defects, low levels
associated with Down syndrome.
