Number
e.g. أَحَدَ عَشَرَ - Eleven
مَعْدُوْدٌ
The thing being numbered
e.g. كَوْكَبًا in أَحَدَ عَشَرَ كَوْكًَبا - Eleven stars
What will the state and number of the مَعْدُوْدٌ be?
وَاحِدٌ + مَنْصُوْبٌ
e.g. إمْرَأَةً in ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ إمْرَأَةً - Thriteen women
What will be the gender of the عَدَدٌ for numbers 11 & 12?
The gender of both parts of the عَدَدٌ will match the gender of the مَعْدُوْدٌ
e.g.
أَحَدَ عَشَرَ كَوْكَبًا - Eleven stars
إحْدَى عَشْرَةَ إمْرَأَةً - Eleven women
إثْنَاعَشَرَ كَوْكَبًا - Twelve stars
إثْنَتَا عَشْرَةَ إمْرَأَةً - Twelve women
What will be the gender of the عَدَدٌ for numbers 13-19?
The first part of the عَدَدٌ will be the opposite gender to the مَعْدُوْدٌ, the second part will match the gender of the مَعْدُوْدٌ.
e.g. ثَلَاثَةَ عَشَرَ رَجُلًا - Thirteen men, ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ إمْرَأَةً - Thirteen women

Both parts of عدد should match معدود in gender and معدود should be واحد منصوب
