Singular
Words which refer back to one thing, e.g. رَجُلٌ - Man, قَوْمٌ - Nation
تَثْنِيَةٌ
Dual
Words which indicate upon 2 things, e.g رَجُلَانِ - Two men
جَمْعٌ
Plural
Words whihc refer to more than 2 things, e.g. مُسْلِمُوْنَ - Muslims
تَثْنِيَةٌ (In مَرْفُوْعٌ state)
Ends in ءَانِ
e.g. رَجُلَانِ - Two men, كَسْلَانَانِ - Lazy (dual)

Ends in ءَيْنِ
e.g. رَجُلَيْنِ - Two men, كَسْلَانَيْنِ - Lazy (dual)

Broken Plural
Plurals where the structure of the singular form has been distorted
e.g رِجَالٌ

- جَمْعٌ مُؤَنَّثٌ سَالِمٌ

Sound masculine plural
Words which have broken plurals can still have sound masculine masculine plurals. Not all singular masculine words have a sound masculine plural.
جَمْعٌ مُؤَنَّثٌ سَالِمٌ
Sound feminine plural
Those masculine words which have broken plurals or can’t be feminised will not have sound feminine plurals.
جَمْعٌ مُذَكَّرٌ سَالِمٌ (In مَرْفُوْعٌ state)
Ends in ؤُوُنَ
e.g. مُسْلِمُوْنَ - Muslims
