Testers rank samples based on a specific sensory property
What is a rating test?
Testers rate the extent they like or dislike certain aspects in similar food products
What is a profiling test used for?
Used to obtain a detailed description of the appearance taste and texture of a food product

No distractions
Controlled lighting
Testers should be in isolated spaces
