The belief in own competence and expectation to succeed at a particular task
What is the definition of self-confidence?
The belief in one’s personal worth and likelihood of succeeding

How is self-esteem influenced?
Self-perceptions, culture and value systems

What are imaginal experiences?
Visualising in your mind doing something or carrying something out
What are emotional states? (2)
Positive: open and willing to have a go
Negative: Pessimistic, less likely to be confident at performing an activity
What are physiological states?
Somatic anxiety levels, fluctuations in nerves
