What is testing?

A

When the organisation carries out a variety of tests to ensure the applicant is correctly chosen for the job

What are the types of tests?

A
  • Attainment test (allows appliucant to demonstrate skills e.g. ICT)
  • Aptitude test (measures how good a candidate is at certain skills e.g. maths, languages)
  • Phychometric test (this asseses how applicants think and test the applicant for personality and character)
  • IQ test (assesses candidates mental abilities where they solve probelms)
  • Physical test (tests candidates physical fitness levels in accordance to the requirements of the job)
