- It will give the compacy a good image if employees are treated correctly. Customers, investors and potential employees are attracted to the buisness

- There is decreased productivity due to low morale
- Increased staff turnover and staff absence
- May be negative impact on customer service or quality
- In extreme cases industrial action may take place
