At each shift change, station officer shall see that:
an inspection of station, apparatus, and equipment is
clean, in place, and proper working order.
When shall stations be kept clean and orderly?
At all times, including Sat, Sun, and holidays.
Dormitories shall be kept:
neat, clean, and well aired weather permitting.
Station work shall be:
equalized among personnel as nearly as possible.
All members shall exercise:
rigid economy in use of supplies.
Driveways, sidewalks, and grounds of station shall be:
kept clean and free of snow, ice, and trash, when possible.
On returning from emergency incidents, all members shall:
do any work necessary to place apparatus back in service ASAP.
When may truck washing and equipment cleaning be left to on coming shift as determined by company officer?
On returning from fires after 9pm.
No piece of equipment shall be removed from apparatus or station without:
- orders or permission of officer in charge.
- this info shall be recorded on records management database.
Reserve apparatus stored in station shall be:
- properly maintained
- with all tools and equipment in place
- kept inside at night.
All station tools and equipment shall be:
cleaned and returned to their proper place ASAP after use.
Upon returning from fires, who shall see that all hose loads are replenished?
Company officer
Hose shall be cleaned and serviced:
as needed.
What is to be done with defective hose and couplings?
Cleaned, dried, and tagged with defects marked
-defects should be noted on run reports and repairs requested.
Hose shall be loaded on apparatus:
in the prescribed manner.
