Officers shall familiarize themselves and:
the members under their command with rules and regs
Officers shall relay to all members under their command:
all order received by them which are of general concern.
Officers shall observe:
- all rules and regs
- all orders of Fire Chief promptly and fully.
Officers shall be responsible for proper execution:
of all orders.
Officers shall be firm in relations with subordinates but:
shall not use violent or abusive language.
Officers shall give commands or transmit orders in language that is:
simple
audible
direct
understandable.
Officers shall set an example for and require the same of by:
their courteous manner and careful attention to duty.
Officers shall hold all members under their command responsible:
for prompt and efficient discharge of duties.
Officers shall constantly strive for:
perfect harmony among all members.
Officer shall report a violation of rules and regs of any subordinate:
to their immediate superior
-who then shall present written report to fire chief if necessary.
Officers shall make such written reports and maintain such records:
as prescribed by the fire chief.
Officers shall promptly report to their immediate superior:
- any member under command who does not report to duty.
- all injuries, accidents and damage to equipment.
Officers shall secure all dept property from members under command who:
sever relations with the dept.
Upon returning from a fire, officers shall report to immediate supervisor:
- all lost articles
- all articles belonging to another company
- should be restored ASAP
Officers shall make inspections of:
- buildings
- fire stations
- personnel
- equipment
as prescribed by fire chief.
