Each officer shall have the authority required to properly fulfill:
the duties and responsibilities vested in him by virtue of his position.
Each officer is a direct representative of:
the fire chief.
Every order or command given by any officer to members under his command:
shall be considered direct orders or commands of the fire chief–
Provided they comply with rules and regs.
Acting officers shall have:
- the authority of rank and be required to enforce rules and regs and order of the position
- and will be charged with knowledge of and be responsible for proper execution of duties.
Acting officers shall be accorded:
- all privileges pertaining to the position
- and shall be obeyed and respected accordingly.
Who will take precedence in command at fires over acting officers?
A regular appointed officer of equal rank
Insubordination will:
