What is an allow list?
A
An allow list makes sure that only the allowed software run. Very restrictive since you specifically call out the applications that are allowed to run. The rest cannot run.

What is a deny list?
A
A deny list makes sure that nothing in the deny list is executed. Everything else is allowed. This is usually an antivirus.
