Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Made from water and malted barley only!
Must be made without the addition of any other cereals.
A Scotch Whisky distilled at a single distillery in a pot still. Can be made in one or more batches.
Must be bottled in Scotland.
Examples:

Single Grain Scotch Whisky
(give an example of a producer & bottling)
Made from water and malted barley, with or without whole grains of other malted or unmalted cereals.
A Scotch Whisky distilled at a single distillery; which does not comply with the definition of Single Malt Scotch Whisky.

- Cameron Brig (lowlands)
- Wm. Grant “Black Barrel” (???)

A blend of Single Malt Scotch Whiskies, which have been distilled at more than one distillery.
Note:
- Johnnie Walker Green Label is a Blended Malt Scotch Whisky.
- - The rest of their line is Blended Scotch Whisky.

A blend of Single Grain Scotch Whiskies, which have been distilled at more than one distillery.

Note:
- this is the max ABV after distillation but before bottling. Scotch will typically be diluted to 40% before bottling.
