How does sexual intercourse lead to fertilisation?

A

At the point of ejaculation the mans penis releases semen into the woman’s vagina.
Sperm cells travel in semen and they enter the uterus through the cervix and travel to the Fallopian tubes.
if a sperm cell meets with an egg cell in the Fallopian tube then fertilisation can happen.
