What is a promotion when it refers to shopping?
An item that a shop is promoting usually by reducing the price e.g. Buy 2 get 1 free OR x% off etc.
What are the advantages of renting?
The monthly repayments can be cheaper than a mortgage
It a shorter term commitment than having a mortgage, you can give notice to say you are leaving more easily than selling your house
You need less money for a deposit for renting
Give disadvantages of renting.
You pay for the property but never end up owning the property.
You can be asked to leave if the owner’s circumstances change.
You can’t decorate or make alterations to the property without the owner’s permission.
You may not be allowed to have pets.
What aspects do people consider when they are considering buying a house?
Location: resale value; proximity to work, shops, schools etc; preferences like city or countryside. ⛪️🏞🏙🚌
