What is a formative evaluation?
Evaluating the effects of an educational program while it is being developed in order to determine what modifications are needed
What is a dynamic assessment?
An alternative method of assessment that was derived from the work of Vygotsky. Alternative to standard assessment and involves providing assistance or instruction (scaffolding) to determine the effects of doing so.
What is protocol analysis?
Involves the test-taker thinking out loud to identify the cognitive process that led to the answer.
What does the L scale on the MMPI-2 measure?
Detects deliberate attempt to present oneself favorably. High L score indicates unwillingness to admit minor shortcomings and present favorably. Higher affluence = lower L score.
