strong FHx gradual onset low IQ prodromal phase lack of precipitant
Mx
oral atypical antipsychotic is first line
offer CBT
Mx - children and young people whose schizophrenia has not responded to adequate doses of at least two different antipsychotics used sequentially for 6-8 weeks
