excused absence does NOT exceed current tour, NOT DESIGNATED AS MEDICAL LEAVE
NON MINOR INJURIES?
- burns, (other than first degree)
- chest pains
- sprains/strains , with swelling or discoloration
- fainting , blackout, memory loss
- shortness of breath
Minors?
-foreign body in eye, REMOVED
-MILD CONJUNCTIVITIS
-LACERATIONS, NO SUTURES
-FIRST DEGREE BURNS
ETC.
BIOLOGICAL EXPOSure?
-notify medical officer, with or without symptoms
bodily fluids
NON Biological exposure?
-medical officer notification required with symptoms only
NON BIOLOGICAL EXPOSURE REPORT
IF MEMBER EXHIBITS SYMPTOMS from BIOLOGICAL OR NON BIOLOGICAL??
BOTH INJURY AND EXPOSURE REPORT REQUIRED
ILLNESS (NOT RELATED TO EXPOSURE), that prevent member from continuing on duty (food poisoning , flu) …
