Procedure for Manual Landing to the Rest Position
- Terminate to OGE approx 150ft offset and aft
- Select HOV (using cyclic trim push)
- Select RHT
Procedure for Landing to the rest position using IAS and RHT
- MARK position
- 2NM final approach segment created by PM
- > 1nm from target be 300ft RHT at 50kts GS
- At 1nm descend to operating height (e.g 60ft)
- Deselect airspeed as descent is initiated
- Maintain 30kts GS until within 0.1 NM of target
- Engage HOV using cyclic beep trim switch
Procedure for Landing to the rest position using FD MOT
- Ensure that Perf Init has been done
- Mark MOT (PM selects it)
- VRHT, VIAS & LNAV annunciates - MOT Captured
- Set RHT reference to operating height
- Call out mode engagements

Prior to ground taxi, hover taxi or takeoff.
