Describe the Air Data System (ADS)

A

2 heated pitot/static probes
2 Air Data Modules (ADM)
2 Temp probes
Pitot static probes fed into the ADMs which calculates BARALT, IAS and VS.
Static lines are interconnected to compensate for imbalance.
OAT interfaces with the MAU to adjust TAS.
The Stby system uses the Left hand system (number 1)
Left ADM is on Main Bus 1 and the right ADM on ESS BUS 2

An amber IAS displayed on the IAS indicator
