Common characteristics of the Sapindaceae family?

A

-flowers are extremely variable
-typically separate male and female flowers, sometimes on different plants
-4-5 sepals and petals, 4-10 stamens, often with hairy stalks

-varying fruits: winged samaras, spiny capsules, inflated, papery capsules

-leaves are almost always compound, either pinnately or palmately arranged
-petioles have a somewhat swollen base
