Minimize risk to acceptable levels
Explain ORM: IAMIS
1- Identifying Hazards (what)
2- Assessing Hazards (probability/severity)
3- Make Risk Decisions (risk outweighs benefits)
4- Implement Controls (engineering, admin and PPE)
5- Supervise (are controls working? if not return to step 1)
Discuss the four principles of ORM?
- Accept the risk only when benefit outweighs the cost.
- Accept no unnecessary risk
- Anticipate risk by planning
- Make risk decisions
