9 A a vessel proceeding

9 D a vessel shall not cross
a vessel SHALL NOT cross a narrow channel or fairway if such crossing impedes the passage of a vessel.
Latter vessel MAY use sound signals of 34D if in doubt as to the intention of the crossing vessel
9 E Overtaking
when overtaking can only take place if the overtaken has to take action to permit safe passing:
the overtaking VESSEL SHALL sound signals, and overtaken SHALL respond and tkae steps to permit a safe passage
9 F Bend
Vessel nearing a bend or an area of a narrow channel or fairway where the other vessel may be obscured, shall navigate with alertness and caution and sound signals 34 e
9 G Anchoring
ANY vessel AVOID anchoring in a narrow channel
