Method
A
- Leave plants to grow in water beaker in the dark
- After 3 days will be root growth
- Place root in HCL and water bath at 60c to soften
- Leave for ten mins
- Cut root 5mm from end
- Rinse root with distilled water
- Add stain so chromosomes can be seen
- Mounted needle uses to placed cover slip to avoid air bubbles
