Method

A
  1. Leave plants to grow in water beaker in the dark
  2. After 3 days will be root growth
  3. Place root in HCL and water bath at 60c to soften
  4. Leave for ten mins
  5. Cut root 5mm from end
  6. Rinse root with distilled water
  7. Add stain so chromosomes can be seen
  8. Mounted needle uses to placed cover slip to avoid air bubbles
