Clinical Psych training programmes in the Uk and in Ireland are 3 years long
They’re doctorates, but can also be known as the D Clin.
These programmes are accreddited by the British psychological Society or the Psychological society of Ireland

Doctorate programmes for clinical psychology in the UK and Ireland have been approved by statutory registration bodies
These statutory registration bodies are known as the Health Professions Council in the UK and in Ireland they’re called the Health and Social Care Professional Council
What qualifications are needed to be a clinical psychologist?
Undergraduate degree
Graduate Basis for Chartered Psychology (GBC)
Accredited by BPS to ensure you have studied psychology in lots of breadth and depth
Conversion courses are available if enough psychology hasn’t been studied
Preferably a first or a good 2:1
