RVSM, Equipment required
• Altitude indication, 2 ADRs + 2 DMCs + 2 PFD • Altitude selection:- 1 Autopilot function - 1 FCU channel • Altitude alert, 1 FWC• 1 transponder
RVSM, weather issues to report to ATC
Turbulence greater than moderate turbulence
RVSM, aircraft failure that must be reported to ATC
• Failure of AP1 and AP2• Loss of altimeter system redundancy (1 PFD indication)• Failure of equipment affecting ability to maintain FL
RVSM, PFD altitude tolerance on the ground before a flight in RVSM airspace
• 75 ft between PFD and airport• 20 ft between each PFD
RVSM, Letter used on the ATS flight plan to indicate that the aircraft is RVSM capable

RNP, Equipments required to operate in P-RNAV airspace
• 1 RNAV system:- 1 FMGC - 1 MCDU- 1 GPS or 1 VOR and 1 DME for FM navigation update - 2 IRS - 1 FD in NAV mode• In addition: - PF side: PFD and ND must be operative- PNF side: 1 of the EFIS must be operative (display ND using PFD/ND transfer switch)- GPS may be required for RNP-1 terminal procedures

• 1 RNAV system:- 1 FMGC - 1 MCDU- 1 VOR and 1 DME for FM navigation update- 1 IRS • In addition:- PF side: PFD and ND must be operative- PNF side: 1 of the EFIS must be operative (display ND using PFD/ND transfer switch)
