Risk Factor of CVD: Family History
myocardial infarction, coronary revascularization, sudden death before 55 years of age father or male 1st degree relative, or before 65 years of age mother 1st degree relative
Risk Factor: Smoking Cigarettes
Current smoker or has quit in the past 6 months
Risk Factor: Sedentary Behaviors
Not Participating in at least 30 min of moderate intensity exercise (40%-60% Vo2) at least 3x per week.
Risk Factor: Obesity
BMI Higher than 30 or Waist Circumference in men > 102cm/40in women > 88cm/35in
Risk Factor: Pre-Diabetes
Impaired Fasting Glucose (IFG)= Fasting plasma glucose greater or equal to 100 mg/dl but less than 125 or on drug treatment
Risk Factor: Dislypidemia
LDL>130 OR HDL<40, OR on meds; if total cholesterol available use >200
