What is a limitation of restorative justice?

  • E: Expensive to run because tehy require highly trained specialists used to dealing behaviour
  • E: Requires commitment from offender to engage in role plays; change takes time, prisons unable to afford lengthy treatment
  • L: So anger management programmes uneconomical or impractical in most prisons
