What is rhinitis?
Nasal block, otitis media turns semi-transparent, tympanic membrane red, eardrum can bulge and rupture
Antibiotics rarely useful
How to treat strep infection

Sats <92%
What is pneumonia

Symptoms of pneumonia
Fever, Rigor, myalgia, cough, sputum, chest pain, DULL PERCUSSION,
What is treatment for pneumonia
Amoxicilllin (typicals)
Clarithomycin (atypicals)
What is aspiration pneumonia
Impaired swallow reflex leads to inhalation (often via stroke)
What is criteria for CURB65
C - confusion U - urea >= 7mmol/l R - respiratory rate >= 30/min B - systolic <90 or diastolic <=60 65 - age =<65
Score of 2 = hospital admission
3-5 = intensive care
