1) Inspect
2) Inspect hands (check clubbing, cap refill, tremor)
3) Measure pulse
4) Inspect face, check sclera, look for cyanosis
5) Check JVP
6) Palpate trachea
7) Palpate lymph nodes
8) Inspect chest wall
9) Feel for apex beat
10) Test expansion
11) Percuss chest wall
12) Auscultate chest wall
13) Repeat expansion, percussion, auscultation posteriorly
14) Test for sacral oedema
(15-Vocal fremitus/resonance optional)
