1) Position at 45 degrees
2) General inspection
3) Hands (clubbing, cap refill)
4) Palpate radial artery and assess RR
5) Palpate brachial pulse
6) Measure BP (probably not)
7) Check mouth for central cyanosis
9) Check eyes and conjunctiva
10) Check JVP
11) Inspect chest wall
12) Feel for apex beat, heaves and thrills
13) Palpate carotids
14) Auscultate heart sounds
15) Auscultate lung bases
16) Peripheral pulses (femoral, popliteal, posterior tibial, dorsalis pedis)
17) Peripheral oedema
